New 2021 Mercedes Benz C Class Features
The Mercedes C-Class is a well-established alternative to the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4, and a new version has only recently been introduced. The look was redesigned, the interior and luxury of the S-Class technology were redesigned, so this new car has a lot to love. Some classic features of the Mercedes Benz C Class as under.
1- Design & Styling
The design of the Mercedes C-Class might look gorgeous. But there are some changes as compared to the previous version. Upfront, the headlights are slightly thinner than the previous version, and there’s a new inverted grill that looks beautiful. In the AMG Line’s cladding, this radiator grill consists of even the tiny Mercedes logo – just in case the big three-pointed star in the center wasn’t enough. The most significant difference on the back of the new C-Class is the thin and sharp brake lights.
There are fewer side door folds and some new alloy wheels in the 17 to 19-inch range. Looks a little more drastic on the rear of the Mercedes C-Class. The round taillights have been removed in favor of a thinner and sharper element similar to those of the smaller A-Class and CLS sedans. Although the black diffuser looks like the old version. The chrome tip is on the back too.
Mercedes offers three body styles, all with the letter C on the trunk lid. Perhaps the highlight of this pack is the coupe with a sloping roofline, but they all have a pretty good style to fit an 8 out of 10 into our scale. In general, it’s a relatively conservative sedan but with more flair and cohesion than you’ll find on most of its competitors. The smooth greenhouse doesn’t make the C-Class models look too scary, although the 43 and 63 AMG variants touch it.
Inside, the C-Class 2021 has a modern cockpit filled with allusions to the past. This year, two 12.3-inch screens hidden under the glass screen are standard. The left side screen serves as a configurable instrument cluster, and the right screen serves as the touch screen for infotainment. Rounded vents add a sleek look, although you’ll want to take the time to sort through the various coating and cushioning options. Keep in mind that Mercedes weighs multiple functions solidly.
2- Performance
Yes, at least in most configurations. Only the base C300 was available with rear-wheel drive, which wasn’t necessary there, other than that the standard. How fast is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class?. Neither version of the C-Class is bright, although the AMG is considerably quicker than the base C300. We rated the composition 7 out of 10 based on the C300. The AMG version will add at least one point to its performance.
However, some drivers will find that the C300 is missing. Its 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine produces 255 hp. This combo is excellent for the 5.7-second sprint from 0 to 60 mph.
Mercedes’ internal tuner spent time with the C43 and massaged the V-6 with a turbocharger of up to 385 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque.
After all, the C43 is more of a sporty version of the C-Class than the original race. However, that’s enough to entertain most drivers. Fans will want the C63 with 469 hp. in the basic version or 503 HP like the C63 S (feel free to spend extra coins). The base C300 is luxurious and comfortable but sporty and shy. They offer good steering weight and a comfortable, predictable drive reminiscent of decades of Mercedes sedans.
The C43 has stiffer springs and adaptive shock absorbers. A unique steering arrangement and more robust tires. They are challenging but not a match for the air suspension included in the C63. In comparison, the C63 can tickle £ 4,000 with a few options and a few passengers. This little car is a lot of fun to drive on winding roads. Some couples and small sedans are just as attractive.
3- Interior Beauty & Technology
In contrast to the E-Class-inspired exterior, the new C-Class sits ahead of its larger sibling with a completely new interior. A new dashboard layout is featuring an extensive central touchscreen infotainment system as the primary focus. There’s a separate deck between the new look, rounded square vents, and a new central control hub. But the entire dashboard is leaning toward the driver. The new sensor system, which works with the latest version of the MBUX S-Class operating system, is available in two sizes. It measures 9.5 “by default, but a larger 11.8” version is also available. For the first time in the C-Class, the instruments are entirely digital. A 10.25 “floating digital instrument panel is standard. A larger 12.3-inch screen is available as an option. The two screens’ appearance can be adjusted according to three different themes: Discreet, Sports, and Classic. Head-up display technology is available, but not the new augmented reality HUD system for the S-Class. In contrast, advanced technology is applied only to the navigation system, with the announcement of live guidance overlaid from the camera on the front of the car.
A live music streaming service has been added, allowing owners to link accounts with Spotify services directly to the car’s infotainment system. Songs can be requested from Hey Mercedes using voice control. The new MBUX system means that on-air updates are also included in the C-Class. As soon as an update is available, it will be downloaded automatically. This means that buyers can now install new after-sales features such as music services or in-car office by subscribing or purchasing directly from the infotainment screen. If you have an intelligent device such as a lamp, hood, or heater, it can be installed and controlled remotely from your car. Mercedes is also updating its C-Class semi-autonomous driving support with the latest driver assistance package. These include a more responsive steering assistant that works at speeds up to 130 mph on the highway, a more flexible remote control radar that works on more roads, and an updated traffic sign assistant.
4- Safety Features
Mercedes-Benz was the first manufacturers to pioneer an advanced driver assistance system, apparently in the previous generation S-Class. There is ample time to make this system available as standard in the C-Class. It is equipped as standard with eight airbags, warning assistant, brake active assistant, crosswind assistant, blind spot assistant, extended tire pressure monitoring, reverse camera, and rain wipers. All famous Mercedes LED lights and pre-safe systems and emergency services are also fitted as standard. Additional extras include extended semi-autonomous functions such as active steering assistance, lane maintenance assistance, parking assistance, speed limit assistance, and reverse alerts.
5- Price Of Mercedes Benz C Class
All this luxury doesn’t come cheap with the $ 41,600 C300 sedan and the $ 43,600 C300 4MATIC. This does not include the $ 995 target fee, tax, registration, or licensing fees. It also puts aside additional extras, some of which you will be eager to watch out for. With minimal effort, we configured the C-Class for up to $ 51,000. All you have to do is add the AMG Line styling pack, AMG Line synthetic leather seats, a navigation technology pack, and all the additional safety functions, except parking assistance. We also know from experience that you can get the C-Class for up to $ 66,000, adding almost any extras.
